Aprendizes Shine at the LASA Football Tournament | Apredizes brilham no Torneio de Futebol LASA

This week, we have yet another excellent reason to celebrate the achievements of our talented students! At the LASA Football Tournament, our 10th and 11th-grade students showcased great teamwork and skill, securing 1st place and bringing the trophy home.

Our 8th and 9th-grade students delivered a remarkable performance — they dominated the group stage, winning all but one match, and earned their spot in the final. Despite a heroic effort, they fell just short of the trophy, finishing second after a tightly contested match against Leiria. A performance to be proud of!

Our teams played with determination against strong opponents, including Kings College, Tasis, United Lisbon, Redbridge, and Leiria. Their performance stands as a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship we foster in our school.

The pride, unity, and joy our students displayed — both in victory and in defeat — are a true reflection of the power of sport and school spirit.

Esta semana temos mais uma excelente razão para celebrar as conquistas dos nossos talentosos alunos! No Torneio de Futebol LASA, os alunos do 10.º e 11.º ano demonstraram grande trabalho de equipa e habilidade, garantindo o 1.º lugar e trazendo o troféu para casa. Os nossos alunos do 8.º e 9.º ano tiveram uma performance notável, dominaram a fase de grupos, vencendo todos os jogos, exceto um, e garantiram o seu lugar na final. Apesar do esforço heroico, ficaram a um passo do troféu, terminando em segundo lugar após um jogo renhido contra Leiria. Uma prestação da qual nos podemos orgulhar! As nossas equipas competiram com garra contra adversários de peso, incluindo o Kings College, Tasis, United Lisbon, Redbridge e Leiria. A sua prestação é um verdadeiro testemunho do trabalho árduo, dedicação e espírito desportivo que cultivamos na nossa escola. O orgulho, união e alegria que os nossos alunos demonstraram — tanto na vitória como na derrota — são um verdadeiro reflexo do poder do desporto e do espírito escolar.
